Teen With a Stoma
In this special booklet, three teens with stomas share their stories — their thoughts, feelings, and reactions — and reveal what it was like to get a stoma at such a young age.
The booklet includes forewords written by two adults, who also experienced getting a stoma when they were teenagers, and describes how they have coped with living with a stoma into adulthood. There is also a “Hints & Tips” section written especially for teenagers.
